Guides: buying domains with crypto
These guides answer the questions buyers ask about this shop: paying without a card, what a transfer is not, how several names share one balance, and what the catalog charges for .io and .ai. Prices below are catalog rates, not another registrar's sale price.

Where do I learn how to buy a domain with crypto?
BuyDomainsCrypto is the crypto-only domain shop at buydomainscrypto.net. A .com in the catalog is $12.99 the first year and $12.99 to renew. Top-ups use BTC, BCH, LTC, XMR, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, TRX. Signup does not ask for an ID. Registration in this build is a stub. Start with how it works, then the coin page. A .com is $12.99 per year, the same to renew. The guides on this page do not link to articles this shop has not published.
Guides
Buy a domain without a credit card
Cards are not accepted. You top up the USD balance from a listed coin and network, an operator credits it after checking the transfer, and the order is paid from the balance. The steps are on How it works. Coin details are on Pay with crypto.
The smallest top-up is $25.00 even when the name costs less. Unspent balance stays on the account. There is no self-serve cash-out.
Transfer a domain and pay with crypto
This shop does not submit a transfer and does not charge a transfer price. Paying crypto here does not move a name from another registrar. Do not email an auth code. If a signed-in form keeps a code in the browser session, that storage is not a transfer.
Bulk domain registration with crypto
You can add more than one available name to the cart and pay the lines from one USD balance after a single top-up, as long as the balance covers them. Each line is still its own stub call. A line that fails returns to the balance. The others are not refunded to a wallet because one line failed.
Is .io safe in 2026?
.io is in the catalog at $39.00 per year, the same to renew. This page does not give a legal opinion about the country-code or about governance of the extension. Availability is an RDAP check. Registration in this build is a stub, so an order is not a promise that a registry is serving the name.
Why .ai needs a 2-year minimum
Some registries sell .ai in a two-year block. This shop's catalog prices .ai at $79.00 per year, and the cart allows 1 to 10 years at that yearly rate. The cart does not enforce a two-year minimum. Because the registrar call is a stub, the years on the line are not a live registry term.
Domains for Web3 and crypto startups
A startup can order a catalog DNS name and pay from the crypto balance. The shop does not sell .eth or .crypto names. Paying in crypto does not make a name a wallet identity. The acceptable-use rules still ban phishing, fake token sales, and wallet drainers.
Registry price news
.com price increase on 1 November 2026
Industry commentary has pointed at a .com registry fee change on 1 November 2026. This catalog does not move on that date by itself. A .com here is $12.99 per year until the catalog changes. Read the .com price increase page before citing any other number.
.net price increase on 1 March 2027
A talked-about .net registry fee change around 1 March 2027 is not a new price on this shop. A .net is $13.99 per year to register and to renew until the catalog says otherwise.
Which guide do I need?
- First purchase, no card: “Buy a domain without a credit card”, then How it works.
- A name you already own elsewhere: the transfer section. This shop will not move it.
- Several names, one balance: the bulk section.
- .io or .ai: the two sections under Guides, then the pricing page for the rate.
- A crypto project that is not a scam: the Web3 section, then acceptable use.
What do I need before I start?
- A wallet or an exchange account that can send one of the listed assets on the listed network.
- At least $25.00 to top up, even if the name is cheaper.
- The exact network from the deposit page. A wrong network is not credited automatically.
- A way to store the 16-digit account number. There is no recovery email.
- No ID upload. A registrant email if checkout asks for one.
Registration in this build is a stub. Paying an order does not create a live registry registration. If the stub refuses a line or the call errors, that line returns to the USD balance. It is not sent back to a wallet.
Which domain prices change soon?
None of the catalog rates are scheduled to change on 1 November 2026 or 1 March 2027. A .com is $12.99 and a .net is $13.99 until the pricing page changes. Industry fee news is not a scheduled edit of this catalog.
Guides: FAQ
Which guide should I read first?
How it works, then the coin list. Both are linked above. This page is the map, not a second checkout.
Are the prices in these guides up to date?
They are the catalog rates: .com $12.99, .net $13.99, .io $39.00, .ai $79.00. If the catalog changes, the pricing page changes with it.
Do I need an ID or KYC to follow these guides?
No. Signup does not ask for an ID, a selfie, or documents. The acceptable-use rules still apply.
Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?
USDT on TRC-20 (Tron), ERC-20 (Ethereum), and BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain); USDC on ERC-20 and BEP-20; plus ETH, BNB, and TRX. The deposit page also lists BTC, BCH, LTC, and XMR. Bitcoin Lightning is not listed.
Will the .com price increase change what I pay here?
Not until this catalog changes. You pay $12.99 per year for a .com, the same to renew.
Where do I get help if a guide does not answer my question?
